Garver seeks a Project Manager to join our Transportation Team in Frisco, Dallas, or Ft. Worth to continue the tradition of providing reputable service to our clients.
Responsibilities of this role include:
- Project management
- Sub consultant coordination
- Project/task scheduling
- Municipal civil design
- Plan production
- Preparing cost estimates
- Client interaction
Technical experience should include:
- Geometric design for roadways
- Drainage design
- Water/wastewater line design
- Utility relocation coordination.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering from an ABET accredited program
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE) in Texas
- Minimum of 8 years of relevant municipal experience
- Experience with MicroStation, Geopak, InRoads, Open Roads Corridor Modeling and/or other roadway design software
- Strong communication skills
- Strong working knowledge of MS Office
- Practical working knowledge of the Public Works Construction Standards - North Central Texas (NCTCOG) and Texas Department of Transportation - Texas Standard Specifications
Preferred Skills:
- Previous design experience in consulting engineering in the Dallas/ Fort Worth area with a primary focus on municipal projects – or – previous design experience in consulting engineering developing PS&E for TxDOT/Toll Authorities.
