Our Urban Planning Team is seeking a motivated student to join our team as an Urban Planning Intern in North Little Rock or Fayetteville.
Internship Description:
- Assist in the development and writing of planning studies and reports such as comprehensive plans, transportation plans, sub-area plans, downtown plans, overlay districts and recreation plans.
- Assist with the evaluation of rezonings, ordinance amendments, site plans, permits, variances, or other proposals.
- Receive working experience and training in industry-related design software such as ArcGIS.
- Attend client meetings, public meetings, and visit planning sites.

Requirements:
- Must be actively pursuing an Urban Planning degree, or related degree such as: Landscape Architecture, Public Administration, Geography, etc.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness to work in different environments, both indoors and outdoors, as necessary.
- Proven time management skills and work ethic.
- Proven professional communication skills.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs.
- Strong interest in pursuing urban planning as a career
Preferred skills:
- Previous experience using GIS software.
