Project The bridge design included replacing the structure crossing the main channel of the Deep Fork River with a bridge consisting of a triple, 125-foot span, precast beam superstructure on drilled piers. Two existing relief structures to the north of the main river channel were replaced with one overflow bridge consisting of five 90-foot precast beam superstructure spans on drilled piers. Soil conditions necessitated the design of wick drains and embankment surcharge in the high fill areas to accelerate the predicted settlement issues. Client Testimonial
