Garver is performing a boundary survey of the Bear Hollow South Wildlife Management Area. The Bear Hollow South Wildlife Management Area is a forested tract located approximately 12 miles south of Winchester, Tennessee. The subject tract is bounded on the south by the Tennessee/Alabama state line and on a portion of the western boundary by State Highway 16 (Old Turnpike Road), which traverses through the subject property. A State Natural Area is also encompassed within the western portion of the tract. Bear Hollow South Wildlife Management Area is one large tract, comprised of two tax parcels–Franklin County Tax Map 148, Parcel 1.00 and Franklin County Tax Map 138, Parcel 1.02.
The total area consists of approximately 9,430 acres and approximately 27.2 linear miles of boundary line.
