Power Distribution Equipment

Client: Strateline Industries of Arkansas
Location: Rogers, Arkansas

Project
Strateline Industries of Arkansas acquired a closed nonwovens manufacturing facility (complete with production lines) to start a new business that manufactures nonwoven webs from recycled cotton. Prior to selling the facility, the previous owner removed two electrical power substations, associated switchgear, and numerous power feeders for use in another facility. This missing equipment was vital for operation of the first production line Strateline needed to place into operation.

Similar replacement equipment cost was estimated at $480,000 with a lead time of 24 weeks. Garver developed a fast-track solution to get the needed power distribution equipment in service in six weeks. Garver's electrical engineers analyzed Strateline's complex mixture of process equipment electrical loading, researched the surplus equipment market, and delivered a complete plan to the client for restoring these electrical services. The equipment cost came in at $173,500.
