Project
Garver provided professional engineering services for the Modular Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Modifications utilized by Union Pacific Railroad. The scope of this project included these aspects:

  • Coordinating with UPRR for desired upgrades to the existing Modular WWTP standard drawings, specifications, and design guide. Garver met with UPRR personnel to discuss design and installation modifications that are incorporated at different facilities.
  • Providing new modular WWTP standard drawings, specifications, and design guides incorporating the design revisions in both electronic and hard copy format.
  • Upgrading the design of the existing PLC-based control systems.
  • Designing and implementing a wastewater SCADA system to provide remote access for operators to control and monitor the status of several wastewater treatment plants at rail facilities in Colorado and Wyoming.
