Location: Fort Wingate, New Mexico
Project Cost: $31.5 million

Project
Garver performed services for a new 150,000-square-foot high school at the Bureau of Indian Affairs Wingate High School. The existing infrastructure was constructed in the mid 1960s and internal deficiencies existed from a multitude of age-related causes.

The project scope includes:
  • Two-story freshman, sophomore, and career academy buildings
  • Dining hall and gymnasium
  • Sewage lagoon upgrade
  • Water tank replacement
  • Associated infrastructure and utilities—water, storm sewer, sanitary sewer, and natural gas, both on the site and specific to the new high school.

This project was featured in the June 2009 edition of Southwest Contractor. It is listed as one of the largest projects to start construction in 2008 in New Mexico. Click here to read this story.
