Project
Garver is providing on-call construction engineering and inspection, materials sampling and testing, and contract administration services as part of a master contract with the Mississippi Department of Transportation. Currently, Garver is working on an American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) stimulus-funded project in Rankin County. This project includes the planing, resurfacing, and traffic striping of five project sites and more than 7.6 miles.

Acting on behalf of MDOT, Garver was responsible for preparing, assembling, and distributing the necessary ARRA, FHWA, and MDOT forms, reports, and paperwork. We were also tasked with ensuring that the project's construction budget was not exceeded. Construction required the placement of more than 11,700 tons of hot-mix asphalt. Construction also included aggregate shoulders and guardrails, landscaping, traffic striping, and asphalt pavement repair.
