Garver has provided site evaluation, airspace study, permitting, airfield design, bidding, and construction support services for Houston Executive Airport, a new green-field, privately owned, public-use airport.
The new facility features a 6,610-foot by 100-foot asphalt runway with full-length parallel taxiway, connecting taxiways, concrete aircraft parking apron, LED taxiway edge lights, new fixed base operator hangar and T-hangar complex, airfield electrical system, 60,000-gallon fuel farm, and airport detention system.
The airfield electrical system consists of runway and taxiway edge lighting, runway and taxiway guidance signage, electrical vault, PAPIs, REILs, rotating beacon, lighted windcones, aircraft ramp lighting, fuel farm power system, and standby (generator) power system.
